Colonel BLR Bamunusinghe took over the duties as the 14th Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 27 February 2020. The Guard Turnout and a Ceremonial parade was presented in honour of newly appointed Centre Commandant at the Regimental Centre. Afterwards officially taking over the duties took place at his office with religious blessings. Group photograph, planting of a tree, troops address and all ranks tea culminated the days proceeding.
