NEW LOG COMMANDER ASSUMES OFFICE

Major General DKGD Sirisena USP, the newly-appointed, Commander, Headquarters Logistic Command assumed duties during a simple ceremony at his office on 17 April 2019.
A Guard Turnout, a Guard of honour, religious observances and an All Rank Tea treat at the Army Logistic Command Headquarters - Salawa marked the occasion of his assuming of office as the Logistic Commander. He was the Commander Forward Maintenance Area - Kilinochchi until he was appointed to the new office.
Centre Commandants and Senior Officers from Logistic Regiments of the Army attended the day’s ceremony.
