Regimental Headquarters of SLCMP treated the dawn of the New year 2018 during a customary ceremony with the reading of the National Service Pledge. Recital of the National Anthem and Army Song, a two minute silence in honor of fallen war heroes and National Service Pledge were read. The Centre Commandant of SLCMP, Colonel ASP Podiralahamie USP addressed the gathering. The ceremony concluded with the reading of special events/orders commenced on the month of December 2017 and the future events of January 2018.
