Multi Religious Activities were held at 12 May 2016 invoked on the heroic personnel who were killed in action while safeguarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country. After an all-night Pirith Chanting Ceremony followed by an Alms Giving. Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Maj Gen N Udawatta WWV RSP VSV USP ndc psc, serving and retired Senior Officers, a large number of Officers/Other Ranks and family members of the fallen and Missing In Action Heroes attended for the grand event.
The Pirith Ceremony commenced with the monks being ushers into the venue in a colourful pageant.
