THE 18TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SPECIAL INVESTIGATION UNIT
The 18th Anniversary celebration of Special Investigation Unit – SLCMP was held on 06th of June 2015. There was a bodhi puja ceremony held at Bellanwila Raja Maha Viharaya on 05th of June 2015 in view of offering merits to KIA, MIA and WIA Officers and Soldiers in SLCMP under the patronage of the Commanding Officer.
On 10th of June 2015 there was a guard of honour and a parade to the Commanding Officer followed by a All Ranks Tea, All Ranks Lunch and the troop Address.
Further more there was a cricket tournament held at Shalika Ground on 11th of June 2015 with the participating of all Officers, ORs and civil workers. Brig DKGD Sirisena USP the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army participated to this event as distinguish Chief Guest.
