SLCMP CRICKET TEAM BECAME THE RUNNER UP OF INTER REGIMENT CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2014
The SLCMP cricket team has became the runner up of inter regiment cricket tournament 2014. The final match was held between the Military Police Cricket Team and Sri Lanka Artillery Cricket Team at the Muththukumara Ground Panagoda On 13th August 2014.
SLCMP batted first and able to make 145 runs on the scoreboard. During the second half Artillery team was able to beat SLCMP Team after completing the required target. The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army Major General EMM Abanpola USP presented as Chief guest for the event, The Colonel Commandant of SLCMP Regiment, Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Senior and Junior officers and more than 500 members of SLCMP regiment were participate for the event.
