ALL RANKS OF SLCMP REGIMENT WARMLY WELCOMED THE WINNER OF RANAVIRU REAL STAR MISSION IV CAPTAIN ARUNI DE SILVA (SLCMP)TO THE REGIMENT
A special welcoming ceremony held at the RHQ SLCMP to welcome the winner of Ranaviru Real Star Mission IV Captain Aruni De Silva to her Regiment on 1st August 2014. All Ranks of SLCMP Regiment were participated for the event and receipt her with warm greetings. Captain Aruni De Silva was abled to crown as the Real Star in the Ranaviru Real Star Mission IV after a huge competition with more than 7500 competitors of Tri Forces.\r\nThe ceremony was held at Cpls Club of RHQ SLCMP with the participation of Colonel Commandant Maj Gen N Udawatta WWV RSP USP ndc psc, Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army Brig DKGD Sirisena USP, Centre Commandant Col H Walgama USP, Senior/Junior Officers and ORs. The RSM of SLCMP Regiment delivered the welcome speech and Colonel Commandant also appreciated her dedication and performances during the competition. Also thanked All Ranks of SLCMP Regiment who have supported herself to become the winner of Ranaviru Real Star. Capt Aruni De Silva also addressed the gathering and delivered her heartiest gratitude to the Colonel of the Regiment, Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army, Centre Comdt and all the Officers and Other Ranks who has given their fullest support during the campaign. Event terminated with an All Ranks Tea.\r\nA special function was held in the evening at Officers Mess to celebrate the victory. The President of the Ladies Club Mrs Shirani Udawatte welcomed Captain Aruni De Silva to the Officers Mess.\r\n
