The 2014 Inter Regiment Karate Tournament was held at Army Physical Training School Gymnasium Panagoda from 05th of January to 08th of Junuary 2014. Over 650 Karate members of Sri Lanka Army participated to this competition. The chief guest for the event was The Commander of the Sri Lanka Army Lt Gen RMD Rathnayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc. The Commander of the Army was welcomed by Chairman Army Karate Maj Gen E K J K Wijayasiri Lsc. SLSR won the championship, SLCMP won the 2nd place and SLNG won the 3rd place of this event respectively. The both teams of Men and Women of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police won the 2nd place of this Tournament.
