THE WOMEN SHOOTERS OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE FIRING TEAM SHOWED THEIR SKILLS DURING THE INTER REGIMENT COMBAT SHOOTING COMPETITION - 2023

The Inter Regiment Combat Shooting Competition -2023, organized by the Army Small Arms Association (ASAA), together with the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) at Diyatalawa, was held from 07 November 23 to 16 Nov 2023 for 10 days at 1000m Firing Range Diyatalawa with the participation of 35 teams representing 23 Regiments in the Army under open and novices categories. The annual Meet that expects to expand the field of rifle shooting to be on par with international standards was completed by 400 plus shooters representing all regiments of SL Army.

The women shooters of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police participated to the competition for the first time ever and showcased their colours during shooting competition which was held on 11 November 2023.

The Constant guidance, supervision and the motivation provided by the Provost Marshal of SL Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Senior Officers and Officers were the big strength to the women firing team during the competition.
