WAR HEROES REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY EVENT

The event was held at 1600 hrs onword on 14 march 2019 at girithale. The commencement of the ceremony was marked with multi Religious blessings ceremony conducted by Religious dignities.
Floral tributes were paid by the Colonel Commandant Maj Gen DKGD Sirisena USP, Centre Commandant and many other Senior Officers of the Regiment followed by parents and relations of the fallen war heroes. This event was held to commemorate their supreme sacrifices for the motherland.
This event was organized by the Regimental Headquarters parallel to the 29th Regimental Day Anniversary.
