The Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army Brig DKGD Sirisena USP made a remarkable visit to the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) on 28 October 2014. The Guard Turnout was awarded to the senior officer at the camp entrance. The Commanding Officer - SIU Col AL Illangakoon briefed The Present Operational Background of SIU to the guest with welcoming him to the SIU. The group photograph was taken after the tree planting event at the camp premises. Then the provost marshal addressed the troops which concluded with a tea party with opening a great occasion for Officers/NCOs to forward their problems and suggestions to the highest rank over their line of duty. The programme was reached to the termination at the conference hall RHQ SLCMP after discussing the present problems over the pending investigations. Brig DKGD Sirisena USP is the 1st Second in Command in SIU who held the appointment in the year 1999.
