SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE KARATE PLAYER TRIUMPH AT THE 8TH SOUTH ASIAN KARATE CHAIMPIONSHIP - 2024

The 8^th South Asian Karate Championship -2024 organized by the Bhutan Karate Association together with Bhutan Olympic Committee kicked off from 13^th to 20^th July 2024 at Thimphu, Bhutan.

More than 200 Competitors and over 4,000 officials from Bhutan, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka were taking part in the competition. The participants competed in different weight categories in cadet, junior, under-21, and senior divisions during the tournament.

S/678998 Corporal Chamila Kumara G G G S - 2nd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (2 SLCMP) completed under 84 Kg weight Category. Bringing to the glamour and the fame to SLCMP, Sri Lanka Army and the entire nation, Corporal Chamila Kumara G G G S secured the Bronze Medal from the Single and the Team Event.
