SLCMP SOLDIERS HAS RECEIVED THE NEWLY BUILT HOUSES FROM MINISTRY OF DEFENCE AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT UNDER THE API WENUWEN API- II
Cpl Wickramasinghe RG (3 SLCMP), Cpl Weerasiri WGS (2 SLCMP) and Cpl Shantha YS (3 SLCMP) of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police has received the newly built houses from the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development under the API WENUWEN API-11 at Anuradhapura. The Keys of the houses were officially handed over to the NCOs by His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapaksha, at the Ruwanweli Maha Vidyalaya- Horowpathana on 5th July 2014. \r\nThe Ministers, Mr Gotabhaya Rajapaksha the Hon. Secretary of Ministry of Defence and Urban Development, Chief of Defence Staff, Tri forces Commanders, and Senior Officers of the Tri forces also participated for the event. \r\n
