SLCMP REGIMENT CONDUCTED THE ONE DAY TRAINING PROGRAMME (WORKSHOP) ON CEREMONIAL MOTOR CADE DUTIES TO THE SECURITY DIVISION OF SRI LANKA PORT AUTHORITY

Upon the request made by Sri Lanka Port Authority, the one day training workshop was conducted by the regimental centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police under the direction of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police , Maj Gen ACA De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc on 20 October 2023 at Sri Lanka Port Authority Premises.

The workshop was included the role and functions of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and provision of ceremonial out riding. The selected experienced team headed by the Colonel Provost - Dte of Pro consist with the well qualified Officers and ORs of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police provided the lecture assistance under the close supervision of the directorate of Provost with the aim of providing the advance theoretical and the practical knowledge on Ceremonial piloting.

30 Members of the Traffic Control Unit - Security Division who perform duties related to this field of Sri Lanka Port Authority participated to the workshop and those attendees had an opportunity to refresh the knowledge and receive updates on performing ceremonial outriding which has been specially designed to provide Ceremonial Motorcade duties to VVIPs and VIPs.
