The Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army (SL Army) and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP), Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc made the final official visits to 1 SLCMP, 5 SLCMP and Special Investigation Unit on 29 April 2024 prior to his retirement. While standing on the eve of retirement, the senior Officer undertook courtesy visits to under command units which are located at Polhengoda to pay gratitude to all Officers and Other Ranks of SLCMP.
The senior Officer was welcomed by the Commanding Officers of respective units with a traditional guard turnout at the doorstep of the camp premises. Afterwards the days sequence of events commenced with the group photograph, All Ranks Tea and the troops address.
While addressing the troops, the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of SLCMP highlighted the importance of having multidimensional training, personal discipline of the soldiers and its impact on their personal life. Further the senior Officer elaborated some noble guidelines for future progressive of the provost units. Later, all ranks of respective units treated to the senior Officer with a decorative and fabulous all rank tea. The day's proceedings were culminated with the signing of the visitor books to mark the official visit of the Senior Officer.
The Commanding Officers, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of respective units participated to the event.
