THE ROAD DISCIPLINE AND HIGHWAY CODE COURSE COMMENCES AT THE SCHOOL OF MILITARY POLICE

The third stage of the Road Discipline and Highway Code Course commences at School of Military Police from 06 November 2023 to 11 November 2023. Total 31 soldiers from all Arms are participating to the course .This Course was initiated under the concept of the Provost Marshal of SL Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc.

The Commandant of School of Military Police, Colonel D D D Serasinghe USP delivered the opening remarks at the inaugural session. The core objective of the course is to impart the theoretical and practical knowledge of soldiers on road discipline and developing the right attitude towards driving to avoid traffic accident in the society.

Further , the course content covers the salient aspects of road discipline such as Distracted driving , Speeding, Reckless driving , Driving under the influence of alcohol and drug, Night driving ,Unsafe lane changes, Tire blowouts, Animal crossing.
