RELINQUISHMENT OF THE COMMANDING OFFICER - 3 RD REGIMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

The 3^RD Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (3 SLCMP) troops bade farewell to the outgoing Commanding Officer, Lt Col M D S U K Weerasinghe USP psc, in a formal ceremony held at the battalion headquarters, Galkulama on 07^th August 2024.

On the arrival, the Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by the Second in Command - 3 SLCMP, Major KT Randika USP Lsc. The day's proceedings commenced with the Guard Turnout and Ceremonial Parade followed by a group photograph, troops address and all ranks tea.

Later, the newly constructed Warrant Officers’ and Sergeant’s Mess building of the 3^rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police was inaugurated by the outgoing Commanding Officer. All ranks of the 3^rd Regiment, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police offered their gratitude and greetings to the Outgoing Commanding Officer on his departure.

The Senior Officers, Officer Commandings, Officers and other Ranks were present at the occasion.
