Under the direction of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the one day workshop for more than 85 Non Commissioned Officers including Regimental Sergeant Majors, Drill Instructors, Regimental Quarter Master Sergeants, Company Sergeant Majors, Other Section In charges and Subject Clerks who are currently performing duties at under command SLCMP Units on 17 August 2023.
The workshop was designed to enhance the knowledge with advance theoretical aspects which will be beneficial to carry out the required task within the battalions and provide vast knowledge on their particular subject areas.
Especially, the workshop syllabus was consists of subject areas such as Unit admin, Admin & Logistics Procedures, Regimental Accounts, Camp Security , Audit Procedures and the updated procedures of conducting Army Events, Investigation Procedures, Ceremonial duties , Offences done by Officers & Soldiers were the mainly focused areas during the lectures.
The lectures were conducted by well qualified Staff Officers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Including Centre Commandant- RHQ SLCMP, Colonel Provost - Dte of Pro, GSO 1- RHQ SLCMP, SO 1(A) - RHQ SLCMP ,SO 1 (Log) - RHQ SLCMP, CO -1SLCMP ,Legal Officer -. Dte of Pro, Account Officer -. Dte of Pro.
At the end of the day, the closing address & the certificate awarding ceremony were held with the presence of the provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc , Centre Commandant and Other Officers.
