Ranaviru Real Star Mission IV Crowned by Capt Aruni De Silva of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police
The grand finale of the world\'s first ever Military Reality show, \"Ranaviru Real Star-Mission IV\" was staged on a grand scale at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on 26th July 2014. His Excellency the President and the Commander in Chief Mahinda Rajapaksa together with First Lady Mrs Shiranthi Rajapaksa participated for the occasion as the chief guest on the invitation of the Secretary Defence and Urban Development Mr Gotabaya Rajapaksa. \r\nCaptain Aruni De Silva of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police won the trophy in face of stiff competition with other six competitors who represented Army, Navy and Air Force, making history as the Ranaviru Real Star - Mission IV. Captain Aruni De Silva was awarded with the \"Ranaviru Real Star\" trophy and keys of a brand new luxury house valued of Rs. 20 million by the First Lady Mrs Shiranthi Rajapaksa. \r\nChairperson of the Ministry of Defence Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Ioma Rajapaksa, Tri Service Commanders, Senior Ministry Officials and Senior Military Officers were among the distinguished invitees.
