PROVOST MARSHALS VISIT TO 2ND REGIMENT OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE
Brig DKGD Sirisena USP the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army visited 2 SLCMP on 09/07/2014 and 10/07/2014.\r\n On 09/07/2014, firstly he received the guard turn out presented by 2 SLCMP. Then he planted a mango tree in front of RHQ 2 SLCMP building after the overall briefing about the role and task of 2 SLCMP by the CO 2 SLCMP.\r\n According to the programme the Provost Marshal addressed MP troops deployed in 2 SLCMP AOR. He convinced to everyone the expectation of Col Comdt SLCMP and Comd of the Army, regarding the way of doing Military Police duties and given some valuable instructions about how to perform investigations and field duties properly.\r\n After addressing the troops Provost Marshal visited 22 Div Provost Coy and under command MP sections.\r\n On 10/07/2014 ,he visited SFHQ (E) Provost Coy (WELIKANDA) 23 Div Provost Coy (PUNNANI) , and 24 Div Provost coy (AMPARA) including their under command sections. And also visited all MP vehicle check points deployed in SFHQ(E) Area.\r\n
