THE PROVOST MARSHAL OF SRI LANKA ARMY AND THE COLONEL COMMANDANT OF SLCMP ADDRESSED THE LANCE CORPORAL TO CORPORAL PROMOTION COURSE NO 72 AND TROOPS OF 2 SLCMP

The Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc visited to School of Military Police, Girithale on 30 September 2023. On his arrival, the Commanding Officer of 2^nd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police warmly welcomed him.

Later, the Provost Marshal addressed the Lance Corporal to Corporal Promotion Course No 72 and troops of 2^nd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. During the address, he highlighted the value of training, knowledge, experience, discipline, commitment of the individual for the success of their future progression as a Provost Other Rankers. Further, he elaborated the aim & the importance of the Promotion course, which is needed in improving their future military career as a provost member. The course comprised of the theoretical and practical aspects with Traffic Control, Military Police duties during the period of Peace and War, Crime Investigation, Lifting of Finger Prints, Report Writing, Army Law and Civil Law, General Knowledge and Military Knowledge, Tactics, Map Reading, Weapon Training and Drill Training.

The Centre Commandant, Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, the Commanding Officer and the Second In Command of 2^nd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Senior Instructor of School of Military Police, Other Senior Officers, Officers, Students of Lance Corporal to Corporal Promotion Course No 72, Permanent Staff of 2^nd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and School of Military Police participated to the event.
