THE PROVOST COMBAT SHOOTERS RECEIVED COLONEL COMMANDANT'S GREETINGS FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS

The Inter Regiment Combat Shooting Competition -2023 was held from 07 November 2023 to 16 November 2023 for 10 days at 1000 m Firing Range Diyatalawa with the participation of 35 teams representing all Regiments in the Army. Being one of the service regiments, the men shooters of SLCMP secured the first position under the Service Regiments category while dominating the 9th Position among all arms under the open category from the shoot which was held on 09 November 2023.

The Constant guidance, supervision and motivation provided by the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, the women shooters of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police participated in the same competition for the first time ever and displayed their colours during shooting competition, which was held on 11 November 2023.

To appreciate this outstanding achievement, the team members of the provost firing team called on by the Provost Marshal of SL Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc and extended his best wishes formally to team members of the firing team on 29 November 2023 at Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police .

The Colonel Commandant, Senior Officers and Officers together with a group of Other Ranks of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police participated in this session.
