NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDING OFFICER OF 5TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE ASSUMED DUTIES

Major BGSM Bogahawela USP psc assumed duties as the 07^th Commanding Officer of 5^th Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police at an auspicious time on 07 August 2024 amidst religious blessings at the Headquarters 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.
The Commanding officer was warmly welcomed by the Second in Command, Major AP Nagahawatta USP Lsc on his arrival to the camp. The subsequent proceeding was then lined up with a Guard Turnout, ceremonial parade, group photograph, troop address and All Ranks tea. Later, The senior Officer took over the duties by signing an official document amid religious observance.
During the Troops address, the newly appointed Commanding Officer expressed his vision and the expectations in coming years. The Senior Officers, Officer Commandings, Officers and other Ranks were present at the occasion.
