MILITARY POLICE ACCEPT CEREMONIAL GUARD FROM THE AIR FORCE
The change-over of the President’s ceremonial guard at the President’s House and the Temple Trees from Sri Lanka Air Force to Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, took place on 02 April 2015 at a brief ceremony in front of the President’s House at Colombo Fort. Sri Lanka Air Force troops after serving a period of 6 months handed over those ceremonial duties to the troops of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police after signing formal documents to that effect.
