Major General DKGD Sirisena USP being promoted to the rank of Major General, Military formalities were held at the Regimental Headquarters on 5 November 2018.
A Guard turnout, Guard of Honour, Group Photograph, Troops Address and the event concluded with an All Ranks Lunch. A tree was planted to commemorate the event. Many Senior, Junior Officers and ORs representing the Units, has joined to congratulate the Colonel Commandant at the event.
