On 31 May 2025, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, in collaboration with the 4th SLCMP, organized a charitable donation programme at St. Luke’s Elders Home in Puttur. The event commenced with a traditional welcome, symbolizing the rich cultural heritage of Jaffna. During the programme, wheelchairs and new bedding were distributed to the residents, enhancing their comfort and well-being. This compassionate gesture not only addressed the immediate needs of the elders but also reinforced the commitment of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police to community welfare and social responsibility. The event was graced by Mrs. Iresha Perera, the President of the Provost Ladies Club, along with members of the Seva Vanitha Branch. Distinguished attendees included the Military Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General U L J S Perera RSP USP nps psc; Major General R D Sallay ndc, Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Brigadier M M M P Mahesh Kumara; BQA 1 Corps Brigadier R M K A S Rajanayake and Lt Col W D C Siriwardhana psc Lsc Commanding Officer 4 SLCMP along with senior officers, officers, and their families.
