THE HANDING-OVER OF THE PRESIDENT\'S CEREMONIAL GUARD
The handing-over of the President\'s ceremonial guard at the President\'s House and the Temple Trees from Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police to Sri Lanka Navy, took place on 01st October 2015 at a brief ceremony in front of the President\'s House at Colombo Fort.
SLCMP troops after serving a period of 6 months handed over those ceremonial duties to the troops of Sri Lanka Navy after signing formal documents to that effect.
