The Falling out ceremony of Provost Course No – 79 was held on 11th October 2021 at School of Military Police – Giritale premises. Newly trained 166 recruits from the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) were passed out after completing the course. Major General Anil Illangakoon, Commander Forward Maintenance Area (Mullaitivu) and the Colonel Commandant of SLCMP, graced the event as the Chief Guest at the invitation of Colonel Seewali Rajanayaka, the Commandant, School of Military Police. Following Other Rankers received the awards from the Chief Guest. Sergrant Jayasena JTE as the best platoon sergeant, Corporal Senanayaka SMDS as the best section commander, Recruit Wijesekara ASP as the best recruit and Recruit Bandara SBPS as the best shooter respectively. Brigadier Lakshman Bamunusinghe, the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army, and Colonel Ramesh Sallay, the Centre Commandant of SLCMP, were also present in the occasion.
