The fall out ceremony of Provost Course - No 80 was held on 28thJanuary 2022 at School of Military Police - Giritale premises. Newly trained 309 Military Police soldiers, including 74 Women Military Police Soldiers from Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) ceremonially received Red Tops after completion of their course. Major General Anil Illangakoon, Commander of Forward Maintenance Area (Mullaitivu) and the Colonel Commandant of SLCMP graced the event as the chief guest at the invitation of, Colonel Seewali Rajanayaka, the Commandant School of Military Police. Following Other Ranks received the awards from the Chief Guest. Staff Sergeant Wijesooriya BGMP for the best Platoon, Sergeant Rathnayaka RMNM as the best Platoon Sergeant, Corporal Liyange ACNN as the best Section Commander respectively. Other than those under mentioned Military Police Soldiers were eligible to win the titles against their names. Pte Jayarathna KVC - Best recruit Pte Gnanatilaka DMAD - Best shooter Pte Herath HMCV - Fittest recruit Pte Rajasinghe SMIP - Best recruit (WMP) Pte Senani DMPP - Fittest recruit (WMP) Pte Sewwandi KKAC - Best shooter (WMP) Brigadier Lakshman Bamunusinghe, the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army was also present in the occasion.
