Directorate of Provost organized an educational visit to Department of Prisons at Walikada on 29th July 2019. Delegation of this visit comprise of 10 Officers and 48 Other Ranks under the guidance of Provost Marshal Brigadier LPR Premalal USP. During the visit delegates were able to enhance their knowledge on custody, care and rehabilitation process of Prisoners. Also, delegates were able to obtained an in depth exposure on modern role and task of Department of Prisons. During the visit the Commissioner Rehabilitation and Skill Development Mr Chandana Ekanayake explained about rehabilitation process and its importance to Military Police personnel to discharge their duties.
