A DONATION TO BUILD A WASH ROOM
The president Mrs. Shirani Udawatta and members of the Provost Ladies club of SLCMP donated Rs.200,000/= to 3SLCMP unit at the monthly meeting held on 31st January 2016 at the Regimental Head Quarters, Polhengoda for the construction of a bathroom for the paralyzed mother of the late war hero S/90889 Cpl Senarathna R S S – 1 SLCMP who was murdered during JVP insurrection.
The project was initiated on the request of the father of the late war hero and is valued at Rs. 350,000/= , remaining of which will be contributed by 3SLCMP unit.
AWARDING OF SCHOLARSHIPS
The President Mrs. Shirani Udawatta and members of the Provost Ladies Club of SLCMP awarded scholarships and gift parcels to six students who had passed grade five exam on 31st January 2016,
Which were handed over to the Hon. President of the Provost Ladies Club by the President of the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit.
