THE CORPORALS TO SERGEANT PROMOTION COURSE - 2023 WAS COMMENCED AT SCHOOL OF MILITARY POLICE

Under the guidance of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, The Corporal to Sergeant Promotion Course 2023 was commenced on 24 November 2023 and scheduled to be terminated on 16 January 2024 at the School of Military Police, Giritale with the participation of total number of 99 eligible Non Commissioned Officers including 88 male NCOs and 11 Women Military Police NCOs of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.

The Commandant of School of Military Police, Colonel D D D Serasinghe USP delivered the Opening address and explained the aim and the importance of the Promotion course, which is needed in improving their future military career as the Senior Non Commissioned Officers.

The course comprised of the theoretical and practical aspects with Traffic Control, Military Police duties during the Peace and War, Crime Investigation, Lifting of Finger Prints, Report Writing, Military and Civil Law, General Knowledge and Military Knowledge, Tactics, Map Reading, Weapon Training and Drill.

The Senior Officers, Officers, Permanent Staff of School of Military Police participated to the Opening address.
