CONCLUSION OF THE LANCE CORPORAL TO CORPORAL PROMOTION COURSE NO 72

Lance Corporal to Corporal Promotion Course No 72 was Commenced on 18 September 2023 and it was terminated on 14 November 2023 at the School of Military Police with the participation of 56 eligible NCOs of SLCMP under the guidance of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc,
Further, the content of the course covered the theoretical and practical aspects with Traffic Control, Military Police duties during Peace and War periods, Crime Investigation, Lifting of Finger Prints, Report Writing, Military Law and Civil Law, General Knowledge and Military Knowledge, Tactics, Map Reading, Weapon Training and Drill Training.
The Commandant of School of Military Police, Colonel D D D Serasinghe USP delivered the closing remarks on 14 November 2023 and elaborated the aim and the importance of the promotion course, during his address.
Senior Officers, Officers, Permanent Staff of School of Military Police and Students of the course were participated at the closing Ceremony.
