COLONEL COMMANDANT OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE UNDERTAKES FORMAL VISIT TO 3 SLCMP, 4 SLCMP AND SLCMP OC TROOPS – MULLAITIVU

The Military Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General U L J S Perera RSP USP nps psc, undertook an official visit to the 3 SLCMP, 4 SLCMP and OC Troops - Mullaitivu.

The itinerary of the visit included Ceremonial Guard Turnouts presented in honour of the Colonel Commandant, inspection of key facilities at camp premises and comprehensive briefings delivered by the respective Commanding Officers/ Staff Officer 1 – OC Troops Mullaitivu which covered operational, training, and administrative aspects of each establishment.

During his addresses, the Colonel Commandant highlighted the critical importance of upholding the highest standards of discipline and military bearing. Further, he stressed that soldier welfare should remain a top priority, recognizing it as a cornerstone of a cohesive and operationally effective force. In his concluding remarks he commended the vital role of Military Police personnel in enforcing discipline and preserving the decorum of the Sri Lanka Army.

The visit was also graced by the Centre Commandant, Brigadier M M M P Mahesh Kumara, along with Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the 3rd and 4th Regiments SLCMP and OC Troops – Mullaitivu.
