7TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE TURNS TO 8 YEARS OF OLD

7th regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police turns 8th chapter of excellence in long lasting journey.

In coincide with the celebrations, series of events that include religious, ceremonial and entertainment activities were taken place on 12 November and 19 December 2023 under the patronage of present Commanding Officer - 7 SLCMP, Maj LGLB Gunarathne USP psc Lsc.

Celebrations were begun with the bodhi pooja and dhamma preaching held at the camp premises to shower the blessings and to gain religious faith on 12 November 2023. With the unfolding of the event, ceremonial celebrations were then held on 19 December 2023 commencing from 0900 hrs.

With the days' proceedings, a magnificent guard turnout was accorded to the Commanding Officer by the troops of 7 SLCMP. The subsequent event was then line up including group photograph and all ranks lunch.

While addressing the troops, the Commanding Officer emphasized his visionary ideas, expectations and value of Military wellbeing as the provost of SL Army.‌‍ Finally, all ranks get together was held at the camp premises to build the coherence and to break the monotones of all ranks.

The Provost Marshal of SL Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc together with all ranks extended the best wishes to the Commanding Officer and all ranks of 7 SLCMP for their future endeavors.
