Sri Lanka\'s colourful moment of pride and dignity 67th Independence Day parade, held place at the Sri Jayawardenapura Parliament grounds on 4th February 2015 headed by HE the President Maithripala Sirisena.\r\n\r\n Members of the clergy, Hon. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe, Speaker, Ministers, State Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Tri-service Commanders, Inspector General of Police and a vast gathering of distinguished invitees, including diplomats, state officials and members of the public participated to the ceremony at Battaramulla.\r\n\r\nA total of 5500 tri-service personnel, members of the Civil Defence Force and Policemen, followed by cultural bands of school children joined the parade.\r\n\r\nMilitary Police personal performed all Ceremonial duties, door opening and all other field duties as per the requirement of the Army, and as well participated the parade.\r\n
