In line with the 55th Army Athletics Championship, the fifty third Army Road Race was held on 04 March 2018 at Baddegama, Galle.
A large gathering of military personnel, including woman soldiers representing all Regiments of the Sri Lanka Army, took part in the Army Road Race - 2018. Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Women's team secured the runners up and men's team secured the 09th place in this competition.
