3rd Regiment, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police turns 33rd chapter of excellence in long lasting journey.
In coincide with the celebrations, series of events that include religious, ceremonial and entertainment activities were taken place under the patronage of the Commanding Officer of 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (3 SLCMP), Lt Col M D S U K Weerasinghe USP psc.
Celebrations were begun with the flag blessing event held at the Ruwanweliseya on 20 March 2024. After that, intercompany cricket tournament was held on 01 April 2024 followed by offering of the delicious lunch to Sathuta Child house at Saliyapura on 02 April 2024.
On 05 April 2024, the guard turnout and ceremonial parade were accorded to the Commanding Officer by the troops of 3 SLCMP. The subsequent event was then lined up planting a sapling, group photograph, all ranks lunch and troops address. Finally, all ranks get together were held in the camp premises to build coherence and to break the monotones of all ranks. The illumination of fireworks added the splendid feeling to the all ranks.
The Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc together with all ranks extended the best wishes to 3 SLCMP.
