THE 2ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE 7TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE
The Celebration of Second Anniversary of 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police held on 17 November 2017 at newly established camp premises at Manik Kanda, Diyathalawa. Prior to the anniversary day celebrations. Flag Blessing Ceremony was held on 6 November 2017 at Temple of Tooth Relic in Kandy and 14th November 2017 in Katharagama Maha Dewalaya and Kiri Wehera premises.
Inter Company Cricket match was held on 12 November 2017 and 7 SLCMP HQ team Secured the Championship of the tournament.
The Corps Day Celebrations consisted with a guard turnout and a Parade for the Commanding Officer, Group Photograph, Tree Planting, All Rank lunch, Troops Address followed by a get together at WOs\' and Sgts\' Mess.
The Second Anniversary concluded with a musical Show coloured by the beat band of SLLI on 18 November 2017.
