The 21st Anniversary celebration of Special Investigation Unit – SLCMP was held on 06th of June 2018. There was a bodhi puja ceremony held at Saripuththaramaya - Narahenpita on 04th of June 2018 in view of offering merits to KIA, MIA and WIA Officers and Soldiers in SLCMP under the patronage of the Commanding Officer.
On 6th of June 2018 there was a guard of honour and a parade to the Commanding Officer followed by a All Ranks Tea and the troop Address. Parallel to the event, a cricket tournament was held on 09 Jule 2018 at Kukule Gaga, Holiday Resort play ground.
