“HEROIC MOTIVATION THROUGH WAR LITERATURE” LECTURE CONDUCTED AT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

It is thrilled to announce an enlightening lecture titled "Heroic Motivation through War Literature”, conducted by the esteemed Author, unsung poet Lt Col Sujith Chaminda Edirisinghe SLACAL from Directorate of Psychological Operation. This engaging session took place at the Corporals’ Club - Regimental Center Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 22 February 2024. The Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the Centre Commandant and more than 700 Officers and Other ranks were present at the audience in both physically and virtually.

The lecture aims to delve into the profound relationship between heroic motivation and the literature of war. Further, the guest speaker explored that how the war literature escalated and serves as a source of inspiration, resilience, and strategic insight for active service members. This exclusive event is tailored for Officers and Other Ranks who are working within Sri Lanka Corps Military Police, offering them a unique opportunity to gain invaluable insights into the psyche of warriors through the lens of literature.
