With most number of victories SLASC Badminton team won the Inter Regiment Badminton Championship 2022 as defending Champions.

SLASC marked another victory in the Army Boxing. SLASC Boxing team became the Champions in the Sri Lanka Army Inter Regiment Tournament - 2022. SLASC Team became champions continuously from 1983 to up to now.

Master General Ordnance Maj Gen WMRWWHJB Wanigasekera USP assumed duties as the 24th Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps on 04 April 2022 in a simple ceremony at the RHQ SLASC. Due to the prevailing Covid 19 pandemic situation in the country, taking over formalities were carried out in accordance with the health guidelines.

A formal military farewell was held on 01 April 2022 to Major General TM Abeyratne RSP Lsc at the Regimental Headquarters of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps in Panagoda, The Outgoing Commander - Forward Maintenance Area (East) and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps reviewed the Guard Turnout and the Guard of Honour presented by the troops of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps at the parade ground of the Regimental Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps. The day event also included with a tree planting, all rank tea, and later he was formally blessed with the traditional street lining.

Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps and Comd FMA (East) Maj Gen TM Abeyratne RSP Lsc declared opened the newly renovated “Model Room” on the invitation of Col HAM Premarathne psc Lsc the Commandant ASC School on 10 January 2022. This model room will help to enhance the practical knowledge of officers and soldiers who participate for courses conduct at ASC School - Thisawewa.

මින්නේරිය අශෝකාරාමය විහාරස්ථානාධිපති ස්වාමින් වහන්සේගේ ඉල්ලීම මත එම විහාරස්ථානයේදී ප‍්‍රදේශයේ අඩු ආදායම්ලාභි පවුල් 150 ක් සදහා අවැසි අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය ද්රව්ය බෙදාදීම සිදුකරන ලදී. ඒ සදහා ශ‍්‍රී ලංකා යුද හමුදා සේවා බළකා සේවා වනිතා ඒකකයේ ගරු සභාපතිතුම්ය නිශාන්ති අබෙිරත්න මහත්මියගේ සම්බන්ධීකරණයෙන් සහ මොබිිටෙල් ආයතනයේ අනුග‍්‍රාහකත්වය යටතේ 2021.07.25 දින එම අවශ්‍යතා ද්රව්ය විහාරස්ථානය වෙත භාරදීම හා ගම්වාසින් වෙත බෙදාදීම කොවිඩි 19 වෛරස ව්‍යාප්තිය වැලැක්වීම සදහා සෙඛ්‍ය අංශ වෙතින් නිකුත් කර ඇති උපදෙස් වලට අනුව සිදුකෙරුණි.
