Lt Col SID Kotuwegedara RSP SLASC
Lt Col CS Rathnayaka SLASC was born on 28 January 1975 and he was educated at Mahanama College, Colombo. He joined the Army as an Officer Cadet on 06 July 1995. After the completion of his initial Officer Cadet training at the prestigious Sri Lanka Military Academy, he was commissioned as a 2/Lt to the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps on 20 December 1997. He was appointed as a Commandant Independent Transport Squadron on 14 January 2019.
Lt Col CS RATHANAYAKA SLASC has completed several military courses both local and overseas, to enhance his knowledge for continuous professional advancement. .
He was awarded the North and East operation medal, 50th Independent anniversary Commemoration Medal, Purna Bhumi Padakkama, East Humanitarian Operation Medal and The North Humanitarian Operation Medal.
