With the guidance of Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) The Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch, presided by Mrs Nishanthi Abeyrathna while further expanding its welfare rolls towards students in families of fallen War Heroes, disabled War Heroes, serving Army personnel and civil employees, provided a large chunk of incentives, to achievers in Grade 5 scholarship examination, GCE O/L and GCE A/L examinations during a ceremony and the foundation stone laid for construction of building for Mushroom project which was held this morning (Jan 2nd) at the RHQ SLASC premises.

The 10th Annual General Meeting of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch was held at the RHQ SLASC Auditorium on 01 August 2020. The president of the SLASC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Tharanga Priyadarshani presided the meeting. The meeting was held following all health rules and regulations with the participation of 52 Seva Vanitha members which is the maximum allowed number according to the prevailing health condition in the country. During the meeting new office bearers were appointed for the rest of the period to be continued. Accordingly following SLASC Seva Vanitha senior members were appointed through the proposals and secondments from the members themselves.

This function was held in the SLASC Regimental Centre at Panagoda.Several Officers and SLASC Seva Vanitha members were present at the occasion.

Later, He attended for tree planting, a tea party with all ranks followed by a Troops address at the Conference Hall at RHQ SLASC.
