PRESIDENT OF SLASC SEVA VANITHA BRANCH INTERACTS WITH ABIMANSALA 2 WAR HEROES UNDER RECUPERATION

The Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch President, Mrs Thushari Wanigasekara visited 'Abimansala 2’ (Wellness Resort) at Wilpitawatta, Kamburupitiya on 17March 2023, together with the members of SLASC Seva Vanitha Branch with the objective of looking into the well-being of disabled War Heroes, resident there.

During the ward visit, Mrs Thushari Wanigasekara had a cordial interaction with those War Heroes and looking into their family matters and progress in recuperation and health. At present, 17 wounded war heroes are under recuperation and rehabilitation at the ' Abimansala 2'.

Afterwards, Mrs Thushari Wanigasekara with other members of the Seva Vanitha Branch gifted packs of essential items to each War Hero and their care takers Handed over a essential items for use at this Wellness Resort.

Subsequently, resident War Heroes were entertained to a musical session before the day's guests sat for tea with those War Heroes.
