United Nations Protection of Civilians Course (UNPOC - 01) was commenced on 23 September and successfully completed on 27 September 2019. The course was consisted with 26 student officers including female officers and it has been designed to provide practical and theoretical knowledge about the protection of civilians. The aim of this training capsule is to educate POC Conceptual, Legal and Operational frame works and how it can apply in the concept of UNPSO. The closing remark was delivered by the Commandant of the IPSOTSL, Maj Gen PI Pathiratne.
