The International Humanitarian Law and Human Right Basic course

The International Humanitarian Law and Human Right basic course conducted at IPSOTSL under the direction and guidance of Directorate of HR and IHL from 10 June 2019 to 27 June 2019 was completed successfully. The course consisted of 15 officers including two officers from Sri Lanka Navy and one officer from Special Task Force of Sri Lanka Police and 37 Other Ranks from different services and police. The objective of the course was to enhance knowledge of the junior level officers regarding Humanitarian Law and its implication and basic knowledge of Human Right Violation. The opening address and closing address was conducted by the Director of Directorate of HR and IHL.
