Potential Observers and Staff Officer Course 26 (POSOC 26) has been held from 02 to 30 October 2017. The chief instructor of IPSOLSL Lt Col Jagath Hemachandra RSP psc GR conducted the opening remakes and course briefing. The Course consisted 32 officers including 12 lady officers.It was the first time of the history ladyofficers were attending the POSOC. As the Directingstaff of the course Lt Col GAKR Gunerathne psc CO 7 SLSR and LT Col BDTD Jayarthne psc CO 1 VIR were participated. Many other visiting lectures sharing their knowledge and experience during the course in various subjects including ICRC, Dte of IHL&HR, SL Air force and Police. All officers were able to obtain qualified aggregate. Closing address was grace by the commandant of IPSOTSL Brig Prasaad Pathirathne GW.
