The India – Sri Lanka army to army staff talks and United Nation instructors exchange programme commenced from 23 to 27 October 2017. As scheduled 02 x officers from Centre for United Nation Peace Keeping in India (CUNPK) visited to Institute of Peace Support Operation Training Sri Lanka (IPSOT SL). On behalf of Sri Lanka Army IPSOTSL privilege to extend welcomes Lt Col Yogendra Sharma and Lt Col Harjit Singh. Lt Col Yogendra Sharma is from infantry regiment and presently serving as staff officer 1 in the Directorate of Infantry in New Delhi Indian.He was instructor in Infantry Training School MHOW also he served in Lebanon (UNIFIL) mission as a Staff officer in 2006.He is a visiting lecture of CUNPK in India. Lt Col Harjit Singh is from regimentof Artillery and presently serving as commanding officer in surveillance battery in J& K. He served as Military observer at Congo in year 2013.He also visiting lecture of CUNPK in India.

Lt Col Harjit Singh was conducted lecture under the tropic of the Negotiation and Mediation and Lt Col Yogendra Sharma cover the tropic of Media management and Indian Army contribution to the UN and role of CUNPK. Further both country exchange and discussed about their block syllabuses of Pre Deployment Training (PDT) and United nation military observer course (UNMOC) and system of training of PDT. Also both country exchange the mementos in the final day.
