IHL/HR basic instructor course coordinated by Directorate of IHL/HR has been conducted from 06 February 2018 to 23 February 2018 at IPSOTSL. The commandant, Brigadier PI Pathiratna was conducted the opening address. 25x32 from Sri Lanka Army, 03 x 03 from Sri Lanka Navy 02x03 Sri Lanka Air Force and 03x03 Special Task Force were participated to the course. Officers from Sri Lanka Army and other visiting lectures from ICRC, Sri Lanka police, Child protection authority , Human Right commission and other organizations were conducted lectures and shared their knowledge and experience during the course in various subjects related to International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. Closing ceremony was grace by the commandant of IPSOTSL Brigadier PI Pathiratna.
